The parties.
The service is operated by Contenza K/S, a Danish limited partnership (kommanditselskab) registered in Denmark under CVR 43349023, VAT DK43349023.
Account.
You must be 18 or older and authorised to enter contracts on behalf of the entity you represent. One login per human; sharing credentials voids the security guarantees in our Data Processing Agreement.
Acceptable use.
- You may publish Digital Product Passports for products you have the right to represent.
- You may not use the service to publish unlawful content, impersonate another manufacturer, or circumvent regulatory obligations that apply to your product.
- You may not attempt to extract bulk data from other customers' passports through the public viewer.
Subscription and cancellation.
Paid tiers renew monthly or annually depending on the plan you chose at checkout. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and no refund is owed for the unused portion of that period. Trials end automatically and never convert without an explicit upgrade.
Passport permanence.
Digital Product Passports you publish are intended to be stable reference URLs for the lifetime of the underlying product, consistent with Article 10(4) of the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation. If your subscription lapses we will keep published passports accessible in a reduced-feature state rather than returning a 404, to avoid breaking QR codes already printed on physical goods.
Price changes.
We may change prices with at least 60 days' notice by email. A price change never applies mid-period; your current period always completes at the price you agreed to.
Service level.
The public viewer is the load-bearing surface — that is the URL printed on a physical product. We target 99.9% monthly availability for the viewer. The dashboard and editing surfaces target 99.5%. The incident log is published on the status page.
Liability.
To the extent permitted by Danish law, our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law and jurisdiction.
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Disputes are resolved in the Danish courts, without prejudice to the consumer protections available to customers resident in their home EU member state.
Changes to these terms.
Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the change, you may cancel without penalty before the change date; continued use after the date constitutes acceptance.
